American Airlines says it doesn’t expect significant disruptions to flights this week as a result of a labor strike at its hub in Charlotte, North Carolina

A mere weeks after staff at Boeing ended a major strike, a smaller one has started at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). According to reports, a group of service staff at the airport has gone on strike. This includes airplane cleaning staff and those who assist passengers needing wheelchairs.

Employees went on strike Monday to protest their current wages, but have returned to work despite the situation remaining unsolved.
