Flagg has been tested during the first weeks of his college career, and the 17-year-old phenom still looks like the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA draft.

Flagg and Duke had their toughest test yet Tuesday night against No. 1 ranked Kansas, where they came up just short and fell 75-72. Flagg had 13 points, five rebounds and three assists, but his highlight of the night was a massive slam dunk over Kansas' Flory Bidunga.

Tyrese Proctor led Duke (4-2) with 15 points, Flagg scored 13, Kon Knueppel had 11 and Sion James finished with 10. Mayo put Kansas ahead for good when he made a jumper with 1:57 left for a 73-71 lead. Flagg hit a free throw for Duke and Rylan Griffen answered with two foul shots with 2 seconds left.
