Large crowds of protesters took to the streets of Tbilisi, Georgia for the fourth night in a row, to demonstrate against the country’s decision to suspend EU membership talks. Clashes between demonstrators and police also took place earlier this year.

Fireworks were shot towards riot police on the steps of parliament and a water cannon was fired at demonstrators. The country's pro-Western president, Salome Zourabichvili, who was due to step down from her post this month,
