Two-time Olympic gold medal skier Mikaela Shiffrin recounted her dramatic World Cup crash, describing one of her injuries Sunday as a "stab wound."

Mikaela Shiffrin suffered an abrasion near her hip and said there was “not really too much cause for concern” after crashing at an Alpine skiing World Cup giant slalom in Killington, Vermont, on Saturday.

Mikaela Shiffrin suffered a deep puncture wound on the right side of her abdomen and “severe muscle trauma” during a scary crash in a giant slalom race.
