A delighted George Russell claimed the third win of his career as Mercedes delivered an impressive one-two at the Las Vegas Grand Prix –- and then said he had no idea why his car was so fast.

George Russell won the Formula 1 race Saturday night in the Las Vegas Grand Prix and his Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton was second.

Earlier this year, Mercedes went 1-2 with drivers George Russell and Lewis Hamilton; it was stripped when Russell's car was found underweight. Four months later, the team finds redemption on the cold streets of Las Vegas.
