The sitting president has the option to pardon just one or both of the turkeys. Regardless of that decision, both turkeys will head to Farmamerica: MN Agricultural Interpretive Center in Waseca, Minnesota, to live out the rest of their days in peace, away from anyone's Thanksgiving table.

NORTHFIELD, Minn. (FOX 9) - It’s a yearly White House tradition that’s been going on throughout multiple presidencies, and the final turkeys President Joe Biden will pardon were raised in Minnesota.

"Based on your temperament and commitment to being productive members of society, I hereby pardon Peach and Blossom," says President Joe Biden Monday.The two were hatched July 18 in Northfield, Minnesota and weigh 40 and 41 pounds each.
