A woman has died in a crash involving a CT Department of Transportation (DOT) truck in Plymouth, and Route 72 remained closed several hours later. DOT officials said Route 72, or Poland Brook Road, was closed from North Main Street to Preston Road.

Plymouth police said Amiela Scarlette Lee, of New Britain, died in a four-vehicle crash on Route 72 Tuesday afternoon.

Route 72 is closed on Tuesday evening in Plymouth after a crash, according to the Plymouth Police Department. The Litchfield County Police dispatch said that this is an ongoing investigation. Additional details were not immediately available.

Poland Brook Road (Route 72) remains closed from North Main Street to Preston Road, and Judd Road remains closed at its intersection with Route 72, police said.
