A woman was killed in a four-vehicle crash involving a Department of Transportation truck on Route 72 in Plymouth on Tuesday.

Plymouth police said Amiela Scarlette Lee, of New Britain, died in a four-vehicle crash on Route 72 Tuesday afternoon.

Route 72 is closed on Tuesday evening in Plymouth after a crash, according to the Plymouth Police Department. The Litchfield County Police dispatch said that this is an ongoing investigation. Additional details were not immediately available.

PLYMOUTH, CT (WFSB) - Route 72 in Plymouth has been shut down due to a crash Tuesday afternoon. The crash happened at around 3.53 p.m. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes. No further information was available.

Poland Brook Road (Route 72) remains closed from North Main Street to Preston Road, and Judd Road remains closed at its intersection with Route 72, police said.
