The New York Rangers have "recently inquired" about a potential trade for Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller, according to The Athletic's Arthur Staple

The Vancouver Canucks have been without their leading scorer from last season, JT Miller, since November 19th as he took a personal leave of absence from the team.

J.T. Miller is reportedly a player coveted by the Rangers as Chris Drury recently inquired about his availability in a possible trade.

Travis Konecny scored twice as the Philadelphia Flyers nipped the visiting New York Rangers 3-1 in a Black Friday matinee. Bobby Brink also scored and Ivan Fedotov made 22 saves for Philadelphia, which improved to 3-0-1 over its last four games.

For most of the game, this was not the team outplayed on Wednesday night in The Music City but still managed to beat the Nashville Predators in overtime. The Flyers returned to their puck support and short passing game while utilizing speed on a Rangers team in a tailspin.

Travis Konecny scored a pair of goals, Ivan Fedotov made 22 saves, and the Philadelphia Flyers defeated the New York Rangers 3-1 on Friday.
