One of two remaining co-defendants in Georgia's longest-running criminal trial was stabbed in jail, his lawyer said Monday morning, as jurors resumed deliberations in the sprawling racketeering case that had included rap superstar Young Thug.

A lawyer for one of two men who was indicted along with rapper Young Thug and is awaiting a jury verdict said his client was stabbed in jail.

Ono of the two remaining defendants in the long-running YSL trial has been stabbed in the Fulton County Jail facility in Union City. Deamonte Kendrick, who raps under the name of Yak Gotti, suffered minor injuries.

Rapper Yak Gotti was stabbed inside a Fulton County jail on Sunday, according to his attorney. Gotti’s real name is Deamonte Kendrick. Kendrick is one of the defendants in the YSL trial. Gotti’s attorney says he is going to be okay and will be in court on Monday.
