In their first game back since playing in the Players Era Festival mid-season tournament, the Texas A&M Aggies men's basketball team used a late-game surge to beat the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in a back-and-forth ACC-SEC challenge battle.

The Aggies’ forwards led the way after halftime as graduate Henry Coleman III and junior Minnesota transfer Pharrel Payne each picked up eight of their 10 points and senior Andersson Garcia brought down 10 of his 16 rebounds. Coleman and Payne combined to hit eight of their 10 field goal tries, contributing to A&M’s 24 points in the paint.

Wade Taylor IV scored 15 points as No. 22 Texas A&M was at its best in the final 10 minutes in a 57-44 win over visiting Wake Forest on Tuesday in a SEC-ACC Challenge clash in College Station, Texas.
