There wasn't a dry eye left in the house during the December 3, 2024, episode of Days of our Lives when Julie delivered a eulogy for her beloved husband, Doug.

The long-running soap opera will hit the impressive milestone episode with its Dec. 2 broadcast As Days of Our Lives hits an important milestone, the show is saying its final goodbye to soap legend, Bill Hayes.

Days of Our Lives has finally put Doug to rest with a touching memorial service and farewell. It’s also introduced a new legacy character with Doug Williams III, and tomorrow, Hope gets to meet her surprise nephew.

Maree Cheatham, an original cast member of Days of our Lives, is reprising her role as Marie Horton. She will be joined by other fan favorites who are coming back to Salem to celebrate the life of Doug Williams, played by the late, great Bill Hayes.
