Uncertainty has been looming over the future of Champions Trophy, it is likely that it is going to be held in a hybrid model where India's matches will be held outside Pakistan, but PCB has raised certain demands and reports have revealed a fresh new twist in the ongoing controversy between BCCI and PCB.

“We have come up with a fair solution. If India refuse, they cannot expect us to play there in the future. If the ICC events are held in India, Pakistan should be allowed to play their matches or finals in Dubai, ensuring fairness,” a PCB source was quoted in the report.

The PCB has strongly rejected reports suggesting that Pakistan had "surrendered" in its discussions with the ICC over the Champions Trophy.

PCB, which seeks to hold the entire tournament on home soil, suggested that they could be persuaded to follow the hybrid model if the ICC also accepts to hold any future encounters between the arch-rivals on Indian soil in natural territory.
