Multiple guns and improvised explosive devices were found in a suspicious van in a White Settlement neighborhood Tuesday morning, police said. According to the White Settlement Police Department, officers responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle in the 9200 block of Jason Lane at about 5:29 a.

A suspect was detained after White Settlement police said they recovered improvised explosive devices and multiple guns from his van.

"The person that called it in prevented something of serious magnitude from happening," White Settlement police detective Laura Gonzalez said.
