Police want to speak to a man who appeared to perform a Nazi salute at a Pro-Palestine protest. Social media footage showed him gesturing near a group of counter-protesters in central London – many of whom were waving Israeli flags.

Police want to speak to a man after an alleged public order offence at a pro-Palestine march near Piccadilly Circus.

The Palestine Solidarity Campaign said the event was the 22nd march since the Israel-Gaza conflict began in October 2023.

Protesters and counter-protesters hurled abuse at each other - and there was a brief struggle with police when a small group holding a banner ran into the road.
