Protesters interrupted a service at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Armagh on Sunday to "highlight the silence from the Catholic church on genocide in Palestine". In a livestream of the service shared on the parish social media, about 30 protesters can be seen entering the cathedral holding placards.

Protesters and counter-protesters hurled abuse at each other - and there was a brief struggle with police when a small group holding a banner ran into the road.

There is a heavy police presence in central London as a pro-Palestine march and counter-protest are held in the midst of Christmas shopping and Winter Wonderland festivities. Bemused Christmas shoppers took photos as the streets around Piccadilly Circus in central London were flooded with pro-Palestine demonstrators.
