MaineDOT says crews made the repairs in half the time it planned for, so the southbound side of the Casco Bay Bridge reopened three hours earlier than expected.

The Maine Department of Transportation said all lanes on the Casco Bay Bridge are open to traffic after the southbound side was closed for three hours while crews repaired a barricade that was damaged by a crash.

MaineDOT says the southbound side of the Casco Bay Bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday while crews conduct repair work on the barricade.
