A judge dismissed a defamation lawsuit that Trump supporter Ray Epps brought against Fox News, bringing the year-long legal battle to an end.

A January 6 protestor has lost his defamation case against Fox News. James Ray Epps had claimed that he was besieged by right-wing haters after Fox News guests suggested he was part of a government plot to discredit the January 6 protestors.

A Delaware court judge has dismissed a defamation lawsuit against Fox News filed by a Jan. 6 rioter who said the network falsely identified him as an FBI informant. U.S. District Court Judge Jennifer L. Hall granted Fox News' motion to dismiss the suit filed last year by Ray Epps.

Raymond Epps, a former Marine, was falsely accused by Fox of being a government agent causing trouble near the Capitol that day so that it would be blamed on Trump fans.
