Animal shelters across the state and across the country are hoping to find loving homes for furry friends in time for the holidays. The BISSELL Pet Foundation is supporting their efforts with its "Empty the Shelters - Holiday Hope" reduced-fee adoption event.

From now until Dec. 17, all animals at the Lafayette Animal Shelter are eligible for adoption (dogs and cats) for a $0 fee.
