Discount hunters searching for Black Friday deals have officially kicked off the holiday shopping season. Consumers are forecasted to break spending records in 2024, with the average person expected to spend a little over $1,000, up 14% from last year, according to data from RetailMeNot.

Here are the Black Friday store hours for some prominent national chains. Best Buy stores will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Most Dick’s Sporting Goods stores will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Home Depot stores will open at 6 a.m. and close at the store’s regular hours. Specific closing hours may vary by store.
