The second Gator to announce his departure from Florida's football program is redshirt junior edge defender Justus Boone. A four-star recruit out of Sumter High (South Carolina), Boone figured to be a key piece of Florida's 2021 recruiting class.

Florida defensive lineman Justus Boone is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal when it opens, according to a report from On3’s Pete Nakos. Boone is a redshirt junior who has seen other players move past him in the rotation as the Gators defense has come to life in the second half of the season.
