An already hectic holiday travel day was made more chaotic with two separate plane collisions on the tarmac at Boston Logan International Airport just hours apart on Monday. The first collision occurred at around noon on Nov. 25 when an American Airlines flight that had just arrived from London Heathrow Airport and was pulling into its gate when it clipped the wing tip of a parked Frontier plane, American Airlines said in a statement to PEOPLE.

The incident took place the same day two other commercial planes clipped wings on the tarmac at Boston Logan International Airport.
