Wife of slain UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson revealed that police informed her that it was "a planned attack” while talking about him receiving threats.

"I don’t know details. I just know that he said there were some people that had been threatening him," Thompson's wife told NBC News after he was fatally shot in New York City.

Brian Thompson, 50, was outside the hotel on Sixth Avenue when the suspect shot him in the chest and leg around 6:45 a.m.
