That's right, folks, you can finally start counting down the days to the next Witcher game, as production has finally kicked off at CD Projekt Red.

The next chapter in The Witcher franchise, known as Project Polaris, has officially entered full-scale production, developer CD Projekt RED has confirmed during its third quarter report today.

Project Polaris, the next game in the mega-hit Witcher franchise, has now entered full production at CD Projekt RED's studios with 400 developers.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now at 30 million unit sold, with DLC, Phantom Liberty sitting at eight million. The Witcher 4 now enters full production.

CD Projekt faces a couple of years without a major video game release and its revenue for the upcoming quarters will be mainly from sales of existing games.
