Earth Farms is recalling various packages of mixed vegetables and whole carrots that are at risk of E. coli contamination. The products include Grimmway Farms carrots.

According to the FDA, 39 have been reported with the illness, 15 have been hospitalized and one has died across 18 states as a result of the outbreak.

Grimmway Farms is one of the world’s largest carrot growers, producers, and shippers. However, the company, which is headquartered in Bakersfield, California, recently drew public attention after recalling several sizes and brands of its bagged organic baby and whole carrots,

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued an update Thursday in the Grimmway Farms organic carrot recall sparked by potential E. Coli contamination. The FDA said that two separate recalls had been initiated by companies that either used or repackaged Grimmway Farms carrots. No cases of E. coli poisoning were reported in the associated recalls.

Earth Farms of Commerce, California, is recalling multiple brands of carrot products and vegetable mixes in several states.
