Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene his security cabinet on Tuesday afternoon to vote on the cease-fire deal.

Israel's military says it struck 20 targets in a "rapid operation that lasted 120 seconds", in what appears to be the largest wave of strikes to hit Beirut.

Israel’s security Cabinet, meeting Tuesday afternoon, was expected to approve the proposal, which Lebanese officials have said Hezbollah also supports.
