The Drake and Kendrick Lamar flame has largely fizzled for now—but a new legal threat by Drake could reignite the feud.

Drake has begun legal action against Universal Music Group and Spotify, alleging they conspired to falsely pump up the popularity of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”

Musician Drake alleges that Universal Music Group “conspired” to artificially boost Kendrick Lamar’s searing diss track “Not Like Us” on Spotify, according to a pre-action petition submitted to a New York court on Monday.

For the second straight day, Drake has taken legal action against Universal Music Group, this time in Texas, over Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us.”

Drake is making another legal move against Universal Music Group over lyrics in Kendrick Lamar’s smash hit “Not Like Us” that he says are false and how UMG could’ve taken action but allegedly chose to do nothing.

Drake has launched legal action against Universal Music and Spotify, accusing them of artificially boosting streams of Kendrick Lamar’s diss track against him, Not Like Us.

The song, a diss track against Drake and his associates, was one of the most popular songs of the summer and is nominated for five Grammy awards.
