Box office actuals are in, and Disney's blockbuster sequel "Moana 2" has once again beaten estimates to become the biggest opening weekend in animated cinema history.

Yesterday, Moana 2 led at the domestic box office with $5.7M, -83% from Sunday, taking its domestic to $231.2M. By the way, Universal’s Wicked wasn’t far behind with $5.5M, -72% from Sunday, for a running total of $268.8M.

The Walt Disney Animation sequel sailed into history with a Thanksgiving haul of $225 million, the biggest five-day opening of all time, among numerous other milestones.
