The Cricket Australia (CA) governing body has unveiled Todd Greenberg as its new chief executive. Greenberg is the current chief executive of the Australia Cricketers’ Association (ACA), appointed to that position in January 2021,

The current CEO of the Australian Cricketers' Association, Todd Greenberg will be succeeding Nick Hockley as the next chief executive officer of Cricket Australia (CA).

"Three candidates made the final interview stage of a global search run by the recruiting firm Spencer Stuart," a source was quoted in the report. The Cricket Australia board, chaired by former NSW premier Mike Baird, had a final call to confirm their decision for Greenberg on Sunday night.

Greenberg has previously worked with Cricket New South Wales. A top-order batter, he played 10 seasons for Randwick CC in Sydney

Current ACA boss and former NRL CEO to take over CA CEO role when Nick Hockley departs at the end of the summer

Greenberg will bring a wealth of experience to the position from his roles across the sporting industry including as CEO of the National Rugby League and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, General Manager of Stadium Australia and most recently as CEO of the Australian Cricketers’ Association.

Todd Greenberg has gone from NRL boss to Cricket Australia CEO in the space of five years, after being appointed as Nick Hockley's replacement at Jolimont.
