Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith has opened up about the death of her first husband, property developer and author Rayne Kruger, who died in hospital in 2002

Prue Leith made a surprising admission about the winner of this year's Great British Bake Off. Contestants Dylan Bachelet, 20, Christiaan de Vries, 34, and Georgie Grasso, 34 battled it out to be crowned winner of the popular baking show on Tuesday (26 November).

Leith has become known for her rather raunchy sense of humor on The Great British Baking Show, so it comes as no surprise that she could not keep it in check during her appearance on Live With Kelly & Mark. Her co-judge, Paul Hollywood, recently called out her “embarrassing” sense of humor.

In a new interview with Gyles Brandreth on his Rosebud podcast, the Bake Off star said there was a particularly ‘grim’ part of her life, having fallen for a married man 20 years her senior. In fact, he was married to her mum’s best friend.
