EMPORIA, Kansas — A notice by Kansas Works announced the closure of a Tyson Foods plant that will impact 809 workers. The plant, located at 2101 West 6th Street in Emporia, Kansas, will officially close on Feb. 14, 2025, according to a Tyson spokesperson.
